This full-time position is for a Special Education Teacher specializing in elementary education, working onsite with students who have Autism and other developmental disabilities. The role involves managing classrooms of 8-12 students during the 2024-2025 school year. There are three openings available. Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs. Providing direct instruction and support to students with Autism and other developmental disabilities. Collaborating with support staff and families to ensure comprehensive educational progress. Maintaining accurate records of student performance and behavior. Creating a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and development. Desired qualifications/experience: Certification or licensure in Special Education. Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably with Autism or developmental disabilities. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in an onsite setting within a specialized classroom. Location: Providence, RI Interview availability is scheduled for Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
