We are seeking a certified Special Education Teacher for a full-time position working with students in the Philadelphia, PA area. This position is for the - school year and will begin in August. Eligible candidates must be certified Special Education teachers in Pennsylvania and have up-to-date PA clearances. Qualifications:

Must have a Special Education Certification in the state of Pennsylvania

Autistic Support or Emotional Support Endorsement/experience preferred

Must have a Bachelors degree (at minimum)

Must have current, up-to-date clearances FBI Fingerprints PA Criminal Background PA Child Abuse Act , Act 24 Mandated Reporter Training Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities

Adapting teaching methods and materials to accommodate a variety of learning styles and abilities

Providing accommodations and modifications as needed to support student success

Collaborating with other educators, parents, and outside service providers to design and deliver instruction that meets the unique academic, social and emotional needs of each student

Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records

Participating in the evaluation and revision of IEPs as necessary

Providing support and guidance to students with disabilities to help them achieve their goals

Communication with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their childs progress and needs
