Special Education Teacher Onsite | Basehor, KS Area School Year: 20252026 Start Date: August 1, 2025 End Date: May 22, 2026 Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week) Work Setting: Onsite ONLY Soliant Education is seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers for full-time onsite positions in the Basehor, KS area for the 20252026 school year. These are contract positions with weekly pay and full benefits. Available Positions: Elementary School: 4 Special Education Resource Teachers 1 Life Skills/Functional Skills Teacher High School: 1 EDBD (Emotional and Behavioral Disorders) Teacher Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development Requirements: Active Kansas Special Education teaching certification/license Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred) Previous experience with students in special education settings preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work onsite and commit to the full 20252026 school year Compensation and Benefits: Hourly Pay Range: $35$45 (based on experience and qualifications) Weekly pay Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan To Apply: Apply NOW or contact Jimmy Peffer directly: Phone/Text: 770-404-8209 Email: jimmy.peffer@soliant.com Qualified candidates will complete an initial phone screening with a recruiter before being submitted to the school district for consideration.
