Job Posting: Special Education Teacher (Self-Contained) Smyrna, TN Area Position: Special Education Teacher School Year: 2025/2026 Location: Smyrna, TN Area (Onsite) Caseload: Middle and High School Number of Positions: 1 About the Company Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a self-contained classroom for the 2025/2026 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position in the Smyrna, TN area. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for middle and high school students with special needs Deliver specialized instruction to meet diverse learning needs in a self-contained classroom Maintain accurate records and documentation, including familiarity with TN Pulse for IEPs Collaborate with parents, school staff, and other professionals to support student progress Demonstrate strong classroom management to create a positive and productive learning environment Participate in school meetings and professional development as required Qualifications Valid 461 Certification in Special Education (K-12) Strong organizational and classroom management skills Experience working with middle and high school special education students preferred Familiarity with TN Pulse system for IEP documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $34 - $44 per hour Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan available Weekly pay Contract position for the 2025/2026 school year How to Apply Interested candidates should apply now or contact Jimmy Peffer directly: Phone/Text: 770-404-8209 Email: jimmy.peffer@soliant.com Candidates will undergo an initial phone screening with a recruiter before being considered by the school district.
