An opportunity is available for two full-time Special Education Teachers for the 2025/2026 school year. This contract position is based in an elementary school setting located in Lowell, MA, and involves servicing both high school and early elementary students (grades 1 through 3). Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Deliver specialized instruction tailored to diverse student learning requirements. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to monitor and support student progress. Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and needs. Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required. Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with elementary and/or high school students in special education settings. Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance. Ability to manage a high caseload while providing individualized support. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
