A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the upcoming school year in Lebanon, OR, serving K-12 students. This contract role requires dedication to supporting students with diverse learning needs within an inclusive educational environment. Responsibilities include: Providing direct instruction and support to students with disabilities in assigned caseloads Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students needs Collaborating with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student progress Monitoring and documenting student growth and adapting instructional strategies accordingly Managing classroom behavior and fostering a positive learning atmosphere Available caseloads include: 3rd-5th grade autism classroom (social learning center) Middle school resource room Elementary resource room Qualifications/Experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with K-12 students with disabilities, particularly in autism and resource settings Strong knowledge of IEP development and special education laws Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to differentiate instruction and create engaging lessons Work Schedule and Location: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Contract position covering the full school year Located in Lebanon, Oregon This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students educational journeys in a supportive K-12 environment.
