Position Summary: Maintain open, ongoing communication with families and caregivers. Design and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning styles and individualized goals. Provide instruction in core academic areas while reinforcing social-emotional and life skills. Track student progress, keep accurate records, and continuously refine instructional methods. Build an inclusive classroom culture that encourages participation, confidence, and independence. Create a structured, positive classroom environment using effective behavior management strategies.

Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. Prior experience working with children with special needs is preferred. Valid Illinois teaching certification in Special Education with LBS1 endorsement.
