Job Posting: Full-Time K-6 Special Education Teacher Onsite New Britain, CT Area Company: Soliant Education Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite Contract Term: 2025-2026 School Year Location: New Britain, CT Area Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:40 AM 4:00 PM Pay Range: $37.50 $47.50 per hour Soliant Education is now hiring a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite position for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a contract opportunity within a self-contained intensive education classroom , primarily serving grades 5-6 . We are looking for an educator with a strong background in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) , Discrete Trial Instruction (DTI) , and/or experience working with students on the autism spectrum . Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction to students with a range of learning, emotional, and developmental disabilities in a self-contained classroom Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collect and analyze student data to inform instruction and measure progress Utilize ABA principles and DTI methods to support student learning Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and administration Maintain a structured, supportive, and safe classroom environment Communicate regularly with families and caregivers regarding student progress Requirements: Valid Connecticut Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement (or ability to obtain) Experience working in intensive special education settings Familiarity or certification in ABA, DTI, or Autism-focused instruction highly preferred Strong classroom management skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Must pass background check and any required district onboarding procedures Benefits: Weekly Pay Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Plan How to Apply: Apply NOW to be considered for this opportunity.
