$50,000$110,000 (based on district step salary schedule) Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction to students with mild/moderate or moderate/severe disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with classroom paraprofessionals, support staff, and other specialists Monitor and track student progress toward academic and behavioral goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to IEPs, assessments, and student performance Utilize appropriate strategies and resources to support emotional and behavioral development Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families and team members Create and maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Implement curriculum modifications and behavior management techniques as needed Work in compliance with state and district policies and procedures Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred) Valid California Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe) Experience working with elementary or middle school students with emotional and behavioral challenges Strong classroom management skills and ability to lead a small, specialized classroom Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement effective instructional and behavioral strategies Must pass background check and meet district employment requirements Apply NOW!
