Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with state standards
Deliver tailored instruction and behavioral support for students with diverse learning needs
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
Participate in school-based team meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
Valid New Mexico Special Education teaching certification
Experience teaching special education in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work onsite within the school district in southeastern New Mexico
Flexibility and commitment to full-time, contracted work through the school year end
