This position offers an opportunity to support elementary students with special needs in a resource classroom setting, serving grades 2 through 5 with a caseload of approximately 15-18 students. The role operates on a four-day workweek, averaging 32-35 hours, providing a balanced schedule for educators. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special education needs in a resource classroom. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to develop and implement IEPs. Monitor student progress and adjust learning strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families and school personnel. Participate in meetings and professional development as required. Qualifications: Valid K-12 Special Education teaching license. Valid K-5 General Education teaching license preferred. Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in special education settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work onsite or virtually as needed.
