This position focuses on providing tailored educational support within a self-contained classroom for students with diverse learning needs. Location: St. Matthews, SC Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student. Collaborate with paraprofessionals and other staff to create a supportive learning environment. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to address the unique needs of students in the classroom. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and challenges. Qualifications: Multicat certification in Special Education. Experience working in behavior classrooms is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
