A K-12 Special Education teaching opportunity is available in Austin, TX, providing vital push-in and pull-out instructional services for 30 students in grades K-8. This contract position follows the school calendar year with work hours from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction in both inclusive and separate settings to support diverse learning needs. Provide push-in and pull-out services tailored to students IEP goals. Participate actively in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, offering insights and documentation related to student progress. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to enhance student outcomes. Maintain accurate records, lesson plans, and student documentation in compliance with district and state policies. Required Qualifications: Valid Texas Educator License with EC-12 Special Education Endorsement. Demonstrated experience with ARD meetings and the ability to contribute meaningfully to the process.
