A Resource Special Education Teacher position is available in Ozawkie, Kansas, serving a high school setting. This contract role spans the current school year, with a start date as soon as possible and an end date aligned with the end of the school year. Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support to high school students with disabilities in a resource classroom model. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs. Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and accommodate diverse learner requirements. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families and school staff. Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience teaching high school students in special education settings preferred. Strong knowledge of core subjects; flexibility to tailor subject focus to candidate expertise.
