An opportunity is available for an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher working with children ages 2 to 5 in a resource inclusion classroom setting. The role involves managing a caseload of approximately 15 students, supported by paraprofessionals on site. The position is a contract non-school year (NSY) assignment located in the Kilgore/Tyler, TX area, with a work schedule from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities: Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs. Collaborate with related service staff to coordinate comprehensive educational services. Provide specialized instruction and support within an inclusive classroom setting. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies to promote growth. Engage with paraprofessionals to support effective classroom management and student learning. Qualifications: Valid Texas State Teaching License with Special Education EC-12 Endorsement is required. Demonstrated ability to create and implement IEPs. Experience working with early childhood special education students in inclusive settings. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
