A K-12 Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the upcoming school year, running from August 1, 2025, through May 15, 2026. This full-time, onsite position offers two openings supporting students in a public school setting in a community within Oklahoma. Responsibilities: Manage a secondary caseload of 15-20 high school students within co-teaching and resource room environments, delivering specialized instruction tailored to individual education plans (IEPs). Support an elementary caseload of approximately 40 students, providing resource room instruction including one period each in Math and English Language Arts (ELA). Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to create inclusive and effective learning experiences. Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings. Foster a positive and supportive learning atmosphere accommodating diverse learning needs. Qualifications: Valid teaching certification with an endorsement in Special Education. Experience working with K-12 special education students, preferably with both secondary and elementary populations. Ability to implement co-teaching strategies and manage resource room instruction. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to individualized student support and educational development.
