This position offers the opportunity to provide critical support to students requiring special education services in a K-12 setting. The role involves delivering both push-in and pull-out instruction tailored to 30 students in grades 6-12, ensuring their individual educational needs are met within an inclusive environment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, providing a consistent daily routine during the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support to students with special needs.
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in both push-in and pull-out formats.
Participate actively in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, contributing to the development and adjustment of student educational plans.
Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to enhance student learning experiences.
Qualifications:
Valid Texas Department of Education License with EC-12 Special Education Endorsement.
Proven experience with ARD meetings and ability to effectively contribute to student evaluations and planning.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
