Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs. Provide instruction in self-contained classrooms to elementary and middle school students requiring specialized support. Collaborate with paraprofessionals to deliver consistent and effective educational assistance. Monitor and document students progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly. Foster a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment conducive to learning and development. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid state certification in Special Education teaching. Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in elementary or middle school settings. Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices. Ability to design and implement individualized learning plans.
