Job Title: Special Education Teacher Autistic Support Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:45 AM 3:15 PM School Year: August 2025 June 2026 Positions Available: 4 Type: Full-Time, On-Site Job Description: Multiple full-time Special Education Teachers are needed to provide instruction in Autistic Support classrooms for the upcoming 20252026 school year. These positions are on-site due to the specific needs of the students. Teachers will be responsible for delivering individualized, structured instruction aligned with IEP goals, supporting students' academic, social, and behavioral development. Successful candidates will work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families to create a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction to students with autism, aligned with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Adapt and implement instructional strategies that support diverse learning needs. Monitor and document student progress and adjust instruction accordingly. Collaborate with related service providers and classroom support staff. Foster a safe, structured, and consistent classroom environment. Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and team planning sessions. Qualifications: Must hold an active Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in Special Education . Emergency permits are not accepted. Experience working in autistic support or with students with autism spectrum disorders is preferred. Strong classroom and behavior management skills. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members and families. 35-55$ an hour depending on experience and qualifications.
