We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate promotes a supportive environment for all learners and has a passion for working with students with developmental disabilities.
\*Responsibilities\*
- Implement Direct Instruction (DI) teaching methods with DI curriculum to support and enhance student learning
- Utilize ABA (applied behavior analysis) techniques and individualized behavior / reinforcement plans
- Collaborate with cohort team, BCBAs and Director of Education to address student academic and behavioral needs
- Create effective, targeted lesson plans aligned with objectives and the school mission
- Differentiate lesson plans and instruction within small group and classroom assignments
- Demonstrate effective classroom management and organization
\*Requirements\*
- Lead teachers: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field. Certified teaching certificate also preferred, but not required - Co-teachers: High school diploma required
- Experience working with students with autism/developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques (ABA)
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A positive, respectful work attitude is a must!

Pay: $41,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
