Job Posting: Onsite Special Education Teacher
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for an onsite position in Manchester, CT Area . This is a contract opportunity for the 2025-2026school year , beginning August 28, 2025 , and ending June 16, 2026 . Position Details: Schedule: Monday through Friday Hours: 35-40 hours per week Pay Range: $30 - $40 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Caseload: Primarily within specialized programs, such as RISE for students with autism Responsibilities: Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs in accordance with IEPs Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed Maintain accurate records and documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Utilize evidence-based practices and specialized strategies for students with autism Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Special Education or related field Valid Connecticut DOE Certification Special Education Certification required Experience working in specialized programs or with students on the autism spectrum preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work onsite and commit to the full 2024-2025 school year Benefits of Working with Soliant Education: Weekly pay Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k retirement plan Professional support from a dedicated recruiter throughout the hiring process Apply NOW!
