Serving students ages 322 with extensive support needsincluding complex medical needsthe school is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join their transdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Attend and participate in IEP meetings Supervise, train, and evaluate classroom support staff and volunteers Lead weekly team meetings to review student progress and classroom needs Complete lesson plans, quarterly reports, educational assessments, and MCAS Alternate Assessments Attend staff meetings, in-service trainings, and supervision sessions Collaborate with leadership to develop curriculum and instructional strategies Serve as liaison to families and local educational agencies Support student transitions and ensure access to appropriate materials and equipment Preferred Experience Experience working with students with severe disabilities Familiarity with complex medical and educational needs Required Credentials Massachusetts teaching license in Severe Disabilities (mild/mod waiver may be considered) District Requirements School CORI Fingerprinting Let's Connect!
