11 students (Grades 48) We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher to serve students with mild to moderate needs near [City Name]. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Michigan SPED license with an endorsement in Cognitive Impairment (CI) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is a full-time, in-person position with a structured school-day schedule. Responsibilities: Provide direct instructional support to students with IEPs Develop and implement effective classroom strategies Collaborate with support staff, general education teachers, and families Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with state and district guidelines Qualifications: Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching Certificate CI or ASD endorsement required Prior experience working with students who have Autism or Cognitive Impairments preferred Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Compensation: Hourly Rate: $35$40 (negotiable based on experience)
