A Special Education Teacher position is available at an elementary school in Windsor, VT for the current school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse learning needs through individualized instruction and specialized educational strategies. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional plans accordingly. Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting. Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional methodologies, and behavior management. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to adapt instruction to meet varying student abilities and needs. Location: Elementary school setting in Windsor, Vermont. Contract Details: Position available for the current school year.
