Job Description

As a Special Education Teacher, you will:

Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs. Provide engaging and adaptive lessons to foster student growth in academic, social, and emotional development. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ success. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary. Advocate for an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Education and Certification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred). Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification. Previous experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable. Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
