This full-time Special Education Teacher position supports K-12 students within a separate ASD classroom setting, serving a caseload of 10 students, including three non-verbal learners. The role begins on August 27, 2025, and includes paraprofessional assistance to support classroom activities and individualized student needs. The contract spans the entire school year. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements. Deliver specialized instruction to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a separate classroom. Collaborate with paraprofessionals to ensure effective classroom management and student support. Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administration. Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and behavioral challenges. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Special Education. Valid Massachusetts state licensure/certification as a Special Education Teacher. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a K-12 educational environment. Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
