A K-12 Special Education teaching opportunity is available in Round Rock, TX, serving students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. This full-time contract role operates Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM during the normal school year. The position focuses on providing resource support in Math and Language Arts to approximately 30 students, emphasizing individualized education plans and inclusive classroom practices. Responsibilities include: Delivering specialized instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs in grades K-8. Managing resource classrooms with a focus on Math and Language Arts. Actively participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to design, review, and modify Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborating with educators, support staff, and families to promote student success. Adhering to professional dress code policies to foster equality and community standards. Qualifications: Valid Texas Department of Education Educator License with EC-12 Special Education Endorsement is mandatory. Demonstrated experience and comfort with ARD meetings and related documentation. Commitment to maintaining district-approved professional appearance policies. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to engage students and staff positively.
