An educational opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support K-8 students requiring IEP and 504 services in a resource setting. Located in Rockford, IL, this full-time or potential part-time contract position begins in late July or early August 2025 and runs through June 2026. Responsibilities include delivering direct special education services predominantly through pull-out instruction, with some push-in support as needed. The role involves progress monitoring, conducting evaluations, maintaining consistent communication with parents and general education teachers, and performing case management tasks. Thursdays are reserved for attending IEP meetings to ensure thorough collaboration.
