A school located in Naval Anacost Annex, DC is seeking experienced Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This full-time, onsite position offers an exciting opportunity to work with elementary students in grades K-1, 5th, and 6th/7th grade within a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The contract-to-hire role will begin on July 31st and run through June 18th, with hours from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, totaling 45 hours per week. Responsibilities include providing specialized instruction in both inclusion settings and small group pull-out sessions. Teachers will manage caseloads of fewer than 10 students, delivering tailored support aligned with students individualized education plans. While prior experience with ELA/English instruction is preferred, it is not required. Candidates licensed outside the state are welcome to apply, as flexibility in licensure is offered.
