A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the current school year at a K-12 school in Marana, AZ. This role focuses on delivering effective co-teaching and resource support in English Language Arts (ELA), working closely with a manageable caseload to foster student success. Responsibilities: Teach three sections of co-taught ELA classes alongside general education teachers. Provide specialized instruction for two sections of resource ELA to support individual student needs. Manage and monitor progress for a caseload of 19 students. Collaborate with staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Employ evidence-based strategies to enhance learning outcomes for students with special needs. Qualifications: Active Arizona Special Education License required. Experience with co-teaching models and resource room instruction preferred. Ability to adapt lessons to diverse learning styles and abilities. Strong organizational and communication skills. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
