A school district in southeast New Mexico is seeking multiple Special Education Teachers to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is available immediately and continues through the end of the school year (EOSY). Qualified candidates will hold a valid New Mexico teaching certificate with a specialization in Special Education. Experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs in a school setting is highly valued. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with IEP goals for students in grades K-12 Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations Participate in team meetings and professional development Preferred Qualifications: Valid New Mexico teaching certificate in Special Education Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction for various age groups and skill levels Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings Location: Onsite in Loving, New Mexico Duration: Contract through end of school year (CSY) Schedule: Full-time This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive district dedicated to student success.
