A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in a K-12 setting within a separate ASD classroom. This contract role begins on August 27, 2025, and offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team specializing in supporting students with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction and support to a caseload of 10 students, including 3 non-verbal learners, in a separate ASD classroom. Collaborate with a paraprofessional to implement tailored educational plans. Monitor and document student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed to meet diverse learning profiles. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and development. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators regarding student needs and achievements. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Special Education. Valid Massachusetts state licensure/certification as a Special Education Teacher. Minimum of 2 years experience working in a K-12 educational setting. Experience working with ASD and non-verbal students is highly desirable. Location: Fall River, MA Benefits: Weekly pay schedule for timely compensation.
