Seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support grades 4-12 across two campuses in Englewood, CO. This contract position (Non-School Year) offers the opportunity to provide critical educational support in a K-12 school setting, focusing on both push-in and pull-out instructional methods. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities in grades 4-12 Collaborate with general education staff to implement push-in support strategies Conduct pull-out sessions for individualized education plans (IEPs) and skill development Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records aligned with state requirements Adapt teaching materials and methods to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities Qualifications: Active Special Education License in Colorado (required) Experience working within K-12 special education programs is highly desirable Strong knowledge of individualized instruction, behavior management, and IEP development Ability to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and families Excellent organizational and communication skills Location: Englewood, Colorado This role involves a standard full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, offering a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the success and growth of students with special needs in a supportive educational environment.
