A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available in Converse, TX, providing essential support for students in Grades 6-12. This role involves delivering both push-in and pull-out services to approximately 20 students, focusing on individualized learning strategies. The position follows a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, and is a contract role for the full school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with special needs. Provide push-in and pull-out services tailored to individual student goals. Participate actively in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, contributing to individualized education plans. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success. Monitor and document student progress and adjust instructional techniques accordingly. Qualifications: Valid Texas Department of Education EC-12 Special Education teaching license. Experience with ARD meetings, including attendance and contributions toward student planning. Ability to effectively manage and instruct students in both inclusive and separate settings. Strong organizational and communication skills to liaise with educators, parents, and administrators.
