A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available for a full academic year contract in Cheshire, CT. This role involves providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs within a structured school environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with disabilities. Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support student learning and behavior management. Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to foster a supportive educational setting. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with special education regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development and review of educational programs. Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification.
