We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for two full-time (35-40 hours per week) positions serving students in grades 7-12 at a school in Broken Arrow, OK. These roles are for the upcoming school year (NSY) under a contract arrangement. Position 1: Grades 7th-9th Caseload of 25 students Primarily resource classroom setting Pullout services may be required based on student needs Position 2: Grades 10th-12th Caseload of 25 students Primarily resource classroom setting Pullout services may be required based on student needs Qualifications and Experience: Mild-Moderate Special Education teaching certification required Provisional certifications considered if educator commits to completing a boot camp before August 5th start date Experience working with middle and high school students in a special education setting preferred Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs Responsibilities: Provide resource classroom instruction and pullout support tailored to each students unique learning goals Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support student success Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with stakeholders This opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the educational development of students with mild to moderate disabilities.
