A Special Education teaching opportunity is available at an elementary school in Arlington, TX, serving students in grades 2 through 5. This position involves managing a resource classroom with a caseload ranging from 15 to 18 students. The role offers a four-day workweek, typically totaling 32 to 35 hours. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support to students within the resource classroom setting Collaborate with general education staff to accommodate students' needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly Maintain communication with families and multidisciplinary teams Qualifications: Valid K-12 Special Education teaching license K-5 General Education teaching license preferred Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education environment Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to work both onsite and virtually (Voco) as needed Additional Details: Position type: Contract for the upcoming school year (NSY) Work environment: Onsite preferred; virtual candidates will also be considered Interviews are scheduled within the next two weeks; candidates are encouraged to remain engaged during this process This role provides a meaningful opportunity to impact the learning and development of students requiring special education services.
