A dedicated Special Education Teacher is sought to support middle school students in grades 68 with cross-categorical disabilities. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction to middle school students spanning multiple disability categories. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) adhering to state and federal regulations. Employ differentiated teaching methods and accommodations to address diverse learning needs. Collect and analyze data on student progress to inform instructional adjustments. Manage classroom behavior using positive, proactive strategies. Participate in IEP meetings and school team discussions to advocate for student needs. Maintain meticulous and timely records of student performance and progress. Qualifications: Possession of a valid Wisconsin Cross-Categorical Special Education License. Demonstrated experience teaching middle school students (grades 68) with disabilities. Strong collaboration and communication skills for working within multidisciplinary teams.
