Job Description

Our client is hiring a full-time  Secondary Science Teacher  to join their dynamic middle or high school faculty. This role may include teaching 8th Grade General Science, High School Biology, or a combination based on department needs. The ideal candidate is student-focused, collaborative, and eager to bring science content to life for a diverse group of learners. Deliver engaging, standards-aligned science instruction to middle and/or high school students

Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners

Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages inquiry and critical thinking

Collaborate with other science educators and instructional staff

Monitor student progress, administer assessments, and adjust instruction accordingly

Incorporate hands-on labs, interactive technology, and real-world applications

Maintain accurate records and communication with students and families

Participate in school-wide events, meetings, and ongoing professional development

Adhere to curriculum and instructional guidelines set by the school and Texas TEKS Qualifications Valid Texas teaching certificate (required)

Certification in Science at the secondary level (grades 6–12 or 8–12)

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (required)

Experience teaching science in a classroom setting preferred

Strong classroom management and communication skills
