Position Details Qualifications: Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree

Willing to obtain a Michigan Teaching Certificate

BA or BX endorsement for grades 6-12 preferred Job Description: Identify students’ reading and writing strengths and weaknesses and match to appropriate interventions

Assist in the evaluation of ongoing programs

Consult frequently with core content teachers on matters relating to reading and writing instruction

Work with building/district teams in their ongoing development and promotion of social/emotional interventions and services through multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)

Design interventions and write lesson plans detailing methods and materials

Be knowledgeable in assessment and data collection, reporting, and analysis techniques

Actions and statements reflect confidence in the school district

Keep adequate and accurate records
