Reports to: School Principal or designee

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher (Grade 7) for our middle school, responsible for delivering engaging instruction in science, encompassing all areas of the subject. The ideal candidate will foster a love for science and support student learning during scheduled classes.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education Valid teaching certification with endorsement in Science201 (4-8) 202 (5-12) 001 (4-8) 006 (4-8) 031 - 034 (5-12) 231 - 235 (4-8) Strong communication and classroom management skills

Working Conditions: Full-time position Classroom environment with standard teaching resources Collaboration with colleagues and staff to enhance student learning Salary Range : As determined by professional experience and NLEA Contract.

A $1000 hiring bonus may be offered to new employees certified in an area of shortage as defined by the state department of education. Additional retention bonus payments of $750 annually for up to four years may be offered with contract renewal.
