Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective science lessons incorporating modern technology to enhance student learning. Teach Earth and Physical Science and Biology curriculum to middle and high school students. Manage a caseload of 8-12 students per class, with some smaller classes ranging from 4-5 students due to the variety of courses offered. Collaborate with other teachers across diverse subjects including VoAg, Woodworking, PE, Art, Music, Business Ed, Technology, Social Studies, Mathematics, Special Education, and English. Support a student body in a Day Treatment and Residential setting focused on individualized education plans. Qualifications and Experience: Strong background in General Education Science instruction. Ability and willingness to become certified through the training department in Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP), focusing on de-escalation techniques and safe physical restraints when necessary. Proven skills in using technology to support classroom teaching. Experience working with grades 6-12 preferred. Comfort working with a diverse student population in a specialized educational setting.
