Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM, aligned with the academic calendar Duration: School Year (NSY), Contract to Hire Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality science instruction tailored to middle and high school students Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to support diverse learning needs Manage and support a manageable caseload with personalized attention Collaborate with staff in a specialized setting serving approximately 160-170 students in both Day Treatment and Residential programs Participate in ongoing training including certification through the Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) program focused on de-escalation and safe intervention techniques Qualifications/Desired Experience: Certification or eligibility to teach General Education Science (grades 6-12) Ability to integrate technology into classroom instruction Willingness to obtain VIP certification through the training department Experience or interest in working in therapeutic or specialized educational environments is a plus Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills This opening offers a meaningful chance to support students within a structured, supportive academy environment while growing professionally in a rewarding educational setting.
