Qualifications/Job Description For The Resource Teacher

•Hold a current Indiana State Teaching License •Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with Kindergarten on license OR Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education with the completed necessary state of Indiana-approved special education preparation program, with the licensure exams passed in either intensive intervention or mild interventions •Be willing to function as a member of the Resource Team and colloborate with and support the team •Individual must have excellent organizational and communication skills •Must be able to write IEPs, FBAs/BIPs and meet deadlines •Collaborate with Professional Learning Community to analyze data to guide instructional decisions •Remain current in the latest educational research •Perform other related duties as assigned •IDemonstrate initiative within the school community
