Special Education Teacher Opportunity HealthPro Pediatrics has an exciting opportunity available for a Special Education Teacher in Avondale, Arizona!
Pay: $1300 weekly+
Middle school students 6th-8th grade - with a caseload of 8 students.
You will have 2 paras in the classroom with you.
Full Time Employment with benefits, 401k, PTO, Holidays
Continuous year-round employment
Qualifications: Valid Arizona teaching certificate Must meet all Arizona Department of Education certification requirements, AZ SPED Cross Categorical Certificate required.
Must meet all NCLB (Highly Qualified) qualifications Bachelor's Degree (minimum requirement) SEI Endorsement Required

Responsibilities Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students' educational deficits
Conduct initial screenings as well as comprehensive evaluations Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for Special Education services
Provide Special Education sessions through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
Maintain all documentation required by the district including, but not limited to, notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP's

Qualifications Must hold a current license to practice in the state of Arizona
Must have Mild/Moderate Certifications
