Core Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction in compensatory skills Teach orientation and mobility concepts Develop and implement individualized learning plans Adapt curriculum materials for accessibility Collaborate with general education teachers and specialists Conduct functional vision assessments Provide assistive technology training and support Offer consultation services to educational teams Student Population Work with students across all grade levels experiencing visual impairments including blindness, low vision, and cortical visual impairments.
