A teaching opportunity is available for educators specialized in supporting visually impaired students within a K-12 setting in the Fort Worth, TX area. This contract position spans the school year and involves delivering focused, individualized instruction designed to meet specific student needs. Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to three visually impaired students, offering minimal services twice a week. Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) aligned with students unique learning requirements. Utilize virtual teaching methods to enhance accessibility and engagement. Collaborate with educational staff to ensure consistency and effectiveness of instructional approaches. Qualifications: Valid Texas State License with Visually Handicapped Grades (PK-12) Endorsement. Proven experience working with visually impaired students in K-12 educational environments. Demonstrated ability to design and execute IEPs with measurable goals. Comfortable and experienced with virtual instruction platforms and methodologies. Strong communication skills and adaptability within a dynamic teaching environment. Work Schedule: Approximately 6 to 9 hours per week. Services scheduled twice weekly, ensuring consistent educational support.
