We're seeking a dedicated educator to provide comprehensive virtual instruction and support services to students with hearing impairments throughout Michigan. Position Details Full-time remote role focused on delivering individualized deaf education services. You'll serve students across multiple grade levels while managing comprehensive case responsibilities through our advanced virtual platform. Student Services & Programming Elementary foundational language development (K-5) Middle school academic and social skill building (6-8) High school transition and career preparation (9-12) Students with varying degrees of hearing loss Students using diverse communication modalities including ASL, spoken language, and assistive technology Professional Duties IEP development, implementation, and monitoring for DHH students Virtual classroom instruction with visual and hands-on learning strategies Language development planning and support across communication modes Assessment coordination and progress reporting Team collaboration with audiologists, SLPs, and general education teachers Family communication and partnership building State and federal compliance management Credential Requirements Master's degree in Deaf Education or related field Valid Michigan DHH teaching license Minimum 2 years of direct DHH teaching experience Fluency in American Sign Language preferred Virtual instruction experience highly valued Strong technology proficiency and adaptability Excellent organizational and communication abilities Virtual Excellence Our cutting-edge platform provides comprehensive tools for effective virtual DHH education delivery.
