District: Shakopee School District Description: Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a fabulous Reading / Language Arts Teacher (1.0 FTE) to join the amazing team at West Middle School.

Job Summary: Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability, creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.

Qualifications: Current MN teaching license in Grades 6-8 English/Language Arts or Communication Arts/Literature license Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction Strong classroom management skills Effective communication skills Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff

Salary can range anywhere between $50,000 to $118,444 depending upon education level and experience.
