KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director of Talent & Technique, the Pure Barre Teacher is responsible for delivering dynamic, safe, and effective Pure Barre classes while upholding the integrity of the Pure Barre technique. All teachers must successfully complete an intensive 100-hour training course (approximately 30 days) before becoming eligible to teach. Training may be completed in person at a Pure Barre studio or virtually and includes significant at-home study, practice in the studio, and preparation for certification. Beyond initial certification, teachers are expected to participate in ongoing continued education and adapt to evolving class formats and programming.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Pure Barre Teacher role includes, but is not limited to:

Class Instruction
  • Teach a minimum of 3 classes per week or 12 classes per month (classes may be scheduled early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
  • Maintain availability to teach at any Pure Barre location in the region.
  • Regularly sub classes when possible, in addition to a consistent weekly schedule.
Preparation & Execution
  • Diligently prepare for each class and learn all new choreography each quarter.
  • Arrive at the studio 20 minutes prior to class start time and remain at least 10 minutes after class ends.
  • Maintain a high level of energy, proper form, and clear cueing throughout the class.
Studio Standards
  • Assist with keeping the studio clean and tidy before and after classes.
  • Serve as a positive brand ambassador, fostering a welcoming and motivating environment for clients.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and use hand weights, demonstrate full-body push-ups, and sustain high-energy movement for the duration of class.
  • Maintain current CPR/AED certification from an accredited provider.
